Miami Dolphins fans were given the ability to connect with the professional football players of their South Florida team during the third practice of the Dolphins’ annual training camp this past Friday. Hundreds of fans attended the Dolphins’ practice held at their Baptist Health South Florida Training Facility on Nova Southeastern University’s campus in Davie, FL.
Fans cheered on their community’s NFL team as several plays were made by players throughout the Dolphins’ practice. Also, the practice allowed fans to see rookie players such as Kenyan Drake, and Leonte Carroo perform. After the Dolphins finished practice fans were given an opportunity to get their autographs, take pictures with them, and talk to some of them.
Friday’s practice allowed connections to be made between fans and players, many fans associate with professional athletes because some either look up to them, wish they could be like them, or enjoy watching their physical abilities. Besides connections between fans and players, the event created an opportunity for family bonding; many fans were in attendance with their loved ones.
